Greetings from Pasadena! Thank you for your interest in Dale Kietzman School of Theology. Here is an overview of our programs:

DKST offers ABS, BBS, MBS, MDiv, MCLD, MPT, DPT. and a DMIN degree programs in the field of Theology and  Development, focusing on the work in Christian ministry and voluntary organizations involved in cross-cultural service. We require a referral from a voluntary (non-government) organization for all potential students. This referral letter must state that the supervisor or leader is aware of the student's interest in cross-cultural service efforts and will offer support throughout the study program.

The Master of Christian Leadership and Development. program utilizes an integrated, field based curriculum. Designed so it can be taken almost anywhere in the world under the guidance of a mentor, it is available as a 45-semester unit Master's level program adapted so students may work on it part time over years. This enables students to continue their family responsibilities and maintain continuity of employment and ministry. It is offered in distance learning format only.

Applicants normally must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college.

For applicants who are non-native English speakers, DKST requires a minimum score of 550 on the written TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and a 213 on the computer version.

To begin the program, students must be admitted in conjunction with a suitable mentor who is local to them. The mentor must have a degree equal to or greater than the degree that the student would like to enroll in.

When both prospective student and prospective mentor complete the Personal Information Forms (PIFs), the Admissions committee will review them before asking to have transcripts and references sent. If the PIFs are favorably reviewed, each will be notified by the Admissions Office as to what is needed to complete his/her application.

More specific and detailed information is available on our University web site: www.dkst.org. All the application materials you and your Mentor will need can be downloaded from the Admissions section.
